The Wilmslow Library is located in the town centre of Wilmslow, Cheshire. The Library is behind the department store HOOPERS and near the Sainbury’s Store.
The training and supervision events are held in Meeting Room 2 on the first floor of the Wilmslow library.
The meeting rooms are on the first floor of the library. Disabled access is available. There is a lift available.
Toilets: An accessible toilet is available on the ground floor.
The meeting rooms have a common kitchen facility.
Lunch and Local amenities
The town centre of Wilmslow is a well serviced retail area. On offer are a wide variety of eating venues and sandwich/deli shops. The town centre has a large number of shops and a pedestrian area. Nearby there is a large Sainsbury’s store, as well as a Tesco Express.
The Wilmslow Library is located within easy walking distance, of approximately 5 minutes, of the Wilmslow Train station with direct access lines to Salford Cresent, Manchester Picadilly/ Oxford Road, Stockport, Cheadle Hulme, Manchester Airport and Crewe. The station is well served by Northern Rail, Cross Country, Arriva and Virgin Train services.
Wilmslow Library is within easy reach of the Wilmslow Bank Square bus stop. Wilmslow bus services are D & G Coaches and Arriva North West. The 130 links to Manchester, Cheadle and Macclesfield and the 88 links to Altringham, Mobberley and Knutsford. We recommend attendees alight at Wilmslow Bank Square. Vehicle Road Access:
Wilmslow town centre can be reached from the M56 via the Junction 6 and the A34. The road sign turnings for Wilmslow are well advertised.
Wilmslow Town center has ample Pay and Display parking. We recommend attendees park in the Cheshire East Council, Broadway Meadow, Wilmslow, SK9 1NB car park long stay Pay and Display parking. This is accessed by following the road signs for Wilmslow Leisure centre and the Council parking is located near the Leisure centre (‘Everybody’). This parking is a short 5 minute walk from the library. There is alternative parking near the library and this is slightly more expensive. Disabled parking is available in the Sainbury’s Pay and Display parking next to the Library.
